Rose Mountain German Shorthaired Pointers About Barbara and Ray Barbara VanBlarcum was raised by German Shorthaired Pointers!! Her parent fell in love with this breed when she was very young. Her parents owned a Dual Champion and her dad handled the dog to all his wins. Barbara started as a Junior Handler and was hooked!!! Many years later Barbara remains in this breed with her life partner Ray Scarth. Barbara and Ray have bred their first GSP litter and currently are owned by 4 GSPs - Blitz, Cali, Diamond and Rudy. Barbara handles the dogs to their conformation titles and Ray handles the hunting aspect. Together they support the versatile German Shorthaired Pointer. They live in the the Catskill Mountain region and their dogs have the best backyard a hunting dog could ever ask for.
